Finance Ministry teams up with Latin American bank

Korea has agreed to boost cooperation with a regional development bank in Latin America and the Caribbean, Seoul’s Finance Ministry said Monday.

The ministry’s delegation to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), headed by Cho Kyu-hong, director general for fiscal affairs, attended the IDB’s annual meeting in Mendoza, Argentina. Korea became the 47th member of the IDB in 2004, which now has 48 member states.
