2PM’s Jun. K enlists in the military

Singer Kim Min-jun of boy band 2PM, better known as Jun. K, entered the military on Tuesday.

Kim’s agency JYP Entertainment said, “Jun. K wanted to quietly enter the military, so we decided to keep his training camp location private.”

The artist was charged for drunk driving in February and has since put a halt on all of his activities.

Kim posted a letter on his fan page on Tuesday saying, “I would like to apologize once more to those I have disappointed for my irresponsible actions back in February.” He added, “I accept all criticism and punishment and will work hard to become a better person.”

Son Sung-ah will marry DJ DaQ

Son Sung-ah of girl group Nine Muses will walk down the aisle with DJ Yoon Moon-su, widely known as DJ DaQ, on May 20.

According to Son’s agency Star Empire, the two have been dating since last year.

Son joined Nine Muses in 2013, but left the group last year to focus on studying music and becoming a professional DJ. Her agency stated that the singer will begin building her career as a DJ after getting married.

DJ DaQ has appeared as a host on several music programs such as Mnet’s “Show Me the Money,” “Unpretty Rapstar” and SBS’ “DJ Show Triangle.”

The two will have a private wedding ceremony with their family and friends.
