K-pop fans get ready: idolCon is returning

The festival will feature performances from some of the nation’s top pop acts and opportunities for fans to meet some of their favorite stars.
There will also be auditions for those who dream of becoming pop stars, and dancing and singing lessons for those looking to perfect their craft. Fans will also be able to purchase merchandise from their favorite acts at the event.
The festival is sponsored by both CJ E&M and Korea Management Federation, and last year’s idolCON sold around 10,000 tickets.
“Last year, we had a total of 30 groups performing, but this year we will have twice as many performers,” said a representative from CJ E&M. The lineup for last year’s idolCON included B1A4, Gugudan, DAY6, Bastarz, Momoland and Imfact.
The lineup of artists performing at this year’s event and ticket sales have yet to be announced.
