Korea Economic Forum to be held on May 30

The Korea JoongAng Daily-The New York Times is hosting the 2018 Korea Economic Forum on Wednesday, May 30.
The forum will provide an opportunity for attendees of various backgrounds - ambassadors, leaders in the financial sector, CEOs of foreign companies and foreign correspondents - to get a sense of the Korean economy and policies affecting it.
Choi Jong-ku, chairman of the Financial Services Commission, will deliver the keynote speech on the state of the Korean economy, which is going through a crucial paradigm shift amid rapid changes in international politics and technology.
The annual forum, the 12th of its kind, will be held in English and simultaneous interpretation will be provided. The Korea JoongAng Daily and JoongAng Ilbo will cover the event.
