Kumho Tire has booth at first Tire Cologne fair

Kumho Tire announced Monday it will attend Tire Cologne 2018, which will be held from today through June 1 in the German city of Cologne.

It is the first such international tire fair.

Kumho Tire on Monday said it is participating in the fair as part of its efforts to target the European market. The nation’s No. 2 tire maker has been consumed by a fierce management struggle about handing over the company to Chinese tiremaker Doublestar.

Kumho Tire, now an affiliate of Doublestar, will set up a booth to showcase some 23 products in seven product categories. The lineup includes premium sports tires, all-season tires and tires for electric cars among others.

Kumho Tire will also showcase some of the products that are being launched next year such as Ecsta HS52, Wintercraft SUV WS72 and Wintercraft SUV ice WS51.

“It is a chance to inform global dealers about the technology and quality of Kumho Tire’s products,” an official at the company said.
