Chinese firm taps Amcham head as outside director

A Chinese tech company, iClick Interactive, has named James Kim, chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham) in Korea, as its outside director, the company said Monday.

The Hong Kong-based, Nasdaq-traded company is the developer of an online marketing platform.

Kim graduated from UCLA and Harvard Business School, and has served as chief executive of numerous American companies’ Korean operations, including Microsoft, Yahoo and most recently General Motors.
