Lee Yi-kyung and Jung In-sun call it quits

Lee Yi-kyung and Jung In-sun have ended their one-year relationship.

The two actors’ agencies confirmed the breakup on Friday. “The two have become very busy and have decided to go their separate ways,” Lee’s agency, HB Entertainment, said in a statement. “They will still remain good friends.”

Lee and Jung met early last year through a mutual friend and quickly clicked. They had kept their relationship secret, even whilst shooting the JTBC drama series “Waikiki,” which began airing in February. Toward the end of the drama in April, the two stars revealed their relationship to the public.

During interviews after the series concluded, the two shared intimate details of their relationship. “Before the start of this drama, we were able to comfortably go on dates,” Lee told reporters at a media event marking the end of the series. “If our relationship had been revealed before this show began, no one would have been interested. I think all this attention comes from the love people have for our drama.”

Lee started his acting career in 2012 with the film “White Night” and has since appeared on many movies and dramas, including “The Pirates” (2014) and the hit series “Descendants of the Sun” (2016).

Jung debuted in 1996 and has appeared in various dramas including “Jang-guk, Who Became Dal-lae: Reunion in 12 Years” (2014) and “Mirror of the Witch” (2016).
