‘Non-Summit’ stars react to World Cup game

테스트

The international cast of the JTBC talk show “Non-Summit” shared their response to the nail-biting football match between Korea and Germany on Wednesday.

The game ended with Korea scoring the match’s only two goals in stoppage time.

German broadcaster Daniel Lindemann, top, posted a video on Instagram right after the game ended early on Thursday.

“Congratulations,” he said. “I received around 80 messages from [my Korean] friends saying ‘I’m sorry. I love you. But we’re happy.’ Although we have both been eliminated, I think Korea played a great game.”

Another German star from the talk show, Niklas Klabunde, middle, posted on Instagram, “I truly congratulate you for your win.” He went on to talk about the hate comments he received after the game, saying, “Football is really important to me, and I’m already sad enough after our loss, but did you have to come to my Instagram and write spiteful comments?”

Christian Burgos, bottom, of Mexico shared a still from the game on his Instagram. “Mexico embarrassingly advanced, but Korea was eliminated with honor,” he wrote on the photo.

All three have appeared on “Non-Summit,” a talk show where foreigners talk about life in Korea. They have also appeared on MBC Every1’s “Welcome, First Time in Korea?” and tvN’s “Food Diary.”
