IU renews contract with Kakao M
Singer and actor Lee Ji-eun, widely known by her stage name IU, renewed her contract with agency Kakao M, formerly LOEN Entertainment, according to the agency on Wednesday.“IU recently renewed her contract with us,” said a source from Kakao M. They added, “she will be going forward with Kakao M, who has been with her for 10 years.”
The agency said, “We are happy to be able to maintain the partnership we have had with IU. We will give IU our full support so that she can be active both as a great artist and an actor.”
Lee made her debut as a singer in 2008, and quickly became one of the top artists in Korea, releasing hit songs such as “Good Day” (2010), “Friday” (2013), “Palette” (2017) and more.
