SK Telecom’s T map app will warn drivers of ambulances
Korea’s top mobile carrier SK Telecom said Thursday its navigation application, T map, will alert drivers to the presence of nearby ambulances and fire trucks in cases of emergency starting next week.In partnership with the National Fire Agency and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the mobile carrier said its app will notify users if they are driving on routes of ambulances and fire trucks that are on their way to the scenes of accidents.
All users will automatically receive such alerts, starting Monday on expressways nationwide.
