“Music Bank” will hold their 13th world tour performance in Berlin, Germany, according to KBS2 on Friday.
Music Bank World Tour is a live concert tour led by KBS2’s weekly music program. Beginning with a show in Japan back in 2011, the Music Bank World Tour has been held in countries such as France, Singapore and Indonesia.
The upcoming event will feature K-pop idols such as Exo, Wanna One, Taemin of boy group SHINee, Stray Kids and more.
“Like us, Germany had a dividing wall [within the country], and music played a big part in knocking down that wall. I think that the K-pop music festival will be a meaningful [event that promotes] cultural exchange,” said the production crew.
The concert will be held at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin on Sep. 15, and it will be hosted by actor Park Bo-gum and singer Jeon So-mi formerly of the girl group I.O.I. The performance will be broadcast to 117 different countries around the world on the KBS World network.
