Momoland tops the charts in the Philippines

Girl group Momoland topped the Music Weekly Top 30 Singles Chart in the Philippines with their songs “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM,” according to their agency MLD Entertainment on Monday.

Many Filipino celebrities have begun to dance along to their track “BAAM” on local television shows and Momoland has quickly become one of the most popular groups of the summer there.

Their songs “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM” placed No. 1 and 2, respectively on the Phillippines local music chart, proving their popularity in the country.

“We have heard many people say that Momoland is getting a lot attention in the Philippines. We are expecting to hold events such as fan meetings to meet with Filipino fans,” said a source from MLD Entertainment.

Momoland made their debut in 2016 with their EP titled “Welcome to Momoland,” but have begun to gain spotlight in January this year with their hit track “Bboom Bboom.”
