It’s a steal
Audi Korea will offer a 40-percent discount on 3,000 units of its low-emission A3 diesel compact sedan to comply with Korea’s new regulations on eco-friendly vehicles. The car will sell for 23.7 million won ($21,000), which is around the same as Korean carmakers’ small sedans, such as Hyundai Motor’s Avante. The new regulation mandates that carmakers that sell over 4,500 units per year dedicate at least 9.5 percent of their sales to eco-friendly vehicles. [YONHAP]
