Loona’s debut concert sells out in 2 minutes
Girl group Loona’s debut concert tickets sold out just two minutes after its release on Thursday, according to their agency Block Berry Creative on Friday.The group is made up of 12 members, and they have previously released music as three different groups beginning last year with Loona 1/3 releasing music in March 2017, Loona Odd Eye Circle in September 2017 and Loona yyxy in May of this year. However, the concert will mark the full group’s official debut.
“It is unprecedented for a local girl group to debut with a solo concert,” said Block Berry Creative.
In January, Loona was listed as one of the Top Five New K-pop Artists to Watch in 2018 by Billboard.
The upcoming concert, titled “Loonabirth,” will take place on Sept. 19 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, southern Seoul.
