There’s a new boy band in town. A nine-member group named D-Crunch debuted Monday, putting on a showcase for their first single, “0806,” a name to celebrate their date of birth in the entertainment world. The newbies aim to become the next BTS, producing their own music, including their lead track “Palace.”

“It’s like we’re up in the clouds, having achieved our dream of debuting,” said member Hyun Oh on Monday. The name D-Crunch is short for Diamond-Crunch, meaning that they will show something as strong as a diamond in the future. “Palace” was released Monday evening on online music sites. [YONHAP]
