Families take a break from the heat at Mulbit Square at Yeouido Hangang Park in western Seoul as the mercury reached 34 degrees Celsius (93.2 degrees Fahrenheit) on Sunday. Weather authorities said that Typhoon Soulik, which passed by Japan’s Kyushu Island on Sunday, is threatening to hit Korea this week.
