LG, Samsung in top 3 for U.S. customer satisfactionSamsung Electronics and LG Electronics were named two of the top three leading technology brands in the U.S. market for customer satisfaction.
According to a survey released Friday by the American Customer Satisfaction Index, a U.S consumer research firm, LG Electronics ranked second in the poll.
This was a notch lower than last year for LG, which yielded first place to Germany’s Bosch.
LG Electronics scored 82 out of 100; Bosch 83. Samsung Electronics placed third, rising sharply from seventh spot a year earlier.
Samsung had been as high as second in this survey, in 2016, but slipped last year after a recall of its washers in the North American market.
The survey examines customer satisfaction among 250,000 respondents in 46 industries.
