On Tuesday, MBC announced that actors Oh Yoon-ah and Lee Chun-hee will be starring alongside actors Han Chae-young and Bae Soo-bin in MBC’s upcoming drama “Promise to the Gods” (working title).
The melodramatic series tells the story of two couples who work against all odds to save the lives of their children.
Oh will play the role of Na-gyong, a lawyer who comes from a poor family. Na-gyong is constantly in conflict with Ji-young, played by actor Han.
Lee will play Min-ho, a businessman who imports hardwood to Korea.
“We expect the actors, who have each shown phenomenal skills in their previous works, to show their own interpretations of the romance and conflict that pervades the drama,” said the producers of “Promise to the Gods” on Tuesday. The drama is set to premiere on MBC on Nov. 24.
