Actor Jo Woo-jin, 39, was married Sunday in a private ceremony.
The couple has been together for 11 years, and they have a two-year-old daughter. They had earlier signed marriage documents but had not held a wedding ceremony due to Jo’s tight schedule.
“Based on the trust and love built over many years, [the couple] has come to fruition in marriage,” said Jo’s entertainment agency, Yooborn Company. “Please warmly support and bless the couple to create a harmonious family.”
His wife asked not to be named publicly.
Jo debuted in 1999, but has recently become a more recognized star by appearing in a series of popular dramas and blockbuster films. He played minor roles in tvN’s “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” (2016), which had the highest viewership rate for a cable drama, and big budget movies like last year’s “Steel Rain” and “1987: When the Day Comes.”
