[Sponsored Report] Fashion Hong Kong’s successful debut in Korea

Fashion Hong Kong successfully debuted in Korea with its pop-up store from September 28th to October 4th, announced Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Seoul Office and Hyundai Department Store.

The pop-up store was located in the imported women’s apparel section, on the third floor of the main Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong-dong. Six Hong Kong female fashion brands were featured: the witty knitwear brand Cynthia & Xiao; LANCA, a sophisticated fur brand for younger generations; stylish and sophisticated fur brand Haze and James; elegant premium fur brand S.K.; unique hand-made style fabric brand Loom Loop; and street-fashion brand SUN=SEN. All items presented at the pop-up store received positive response from customers. In particular, fur jackets and coats from LANCA and Haze and James recorded significant sales.

As the pop-up store met with very positive outcomes, HKTDC will continue introducing diverse HK fashion brands to Korean consumers in partnership with Hyundai Department Store, said an official from the HKTDC.

Fashion Hong Kong is a series of international promotion events organized by HKTDC to promote HK fashion designers and brands in the global fashion arena. Fashion Hong Kong has been actively participating in major global fashion weeks and prestigious events since 2015, hoping to introduce HK’s unique and diverse design brands. Seoul hosted the event for the first time in Korea, following New York, London, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Shanghai.
