BTS’ RM announces playlist for fans

Kim Nam-jun, better known as RM from boy band BTS, will drop his very own playlist today.

On Sunday, the singer posted a photo on the group’s official Twitter of a list of songs set to be included on the playlist, including “tokyo,” “seoul,” “moonchild,” “bad bye” and more.

The word “mixtape” is intentionally crossed out and replaced by the word “playlist” in the photo. During a recent appearance on streaming service V-live, RM mentioned that his upcoming playlist would not be a mixtape.

The tracklist photo also includes featured artists, including English electronic music duo Honne, Korean indie rock band Nell and singer eAeon.

Since 2015, the members of BTS have been releasing solo mixtapes for free online. RM was the first to release the series of mixtapes on March 2015. Suga released a mixtape on August 2016 and J-Hope dropped his in March.

BTS recently finished the European leg of their world tour, making stops in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris.

The septet will be returning to Korea to receive the Order of Cultural Merit on Wednesday for promoting Korean culture and language abroad.

The members will then head to Japan and kick off the Asia leg of the tour.
