Wanna One confirms release date

Boy band Wanna One’s agency Swing Entertainment confirmed Wednesday that the group’s upcoming album will be released on Nov. 19.

The agency released a teaser image for the album through the band’s social media pages featuring a cassette tape, along with the date.

The 11-member band is comprised of the finalists chosen by the viewers of the second season of Mnet’s competition show “Produce 101,” which aired from April 7 to June 16 of last year.

The group released its first album “1X1=1 To Be One” in August 2017 and swept the charts with the song “Energetic.” Thanks to the success of its debut album, the group dropped a repackaged album “1-1=0 Nothing Without You” just three months later.

The band recently finished its world tour “One: The World” in June, making stops in 14 different cities over three months, including Hong Kong, Taipei and Melbourne.
