Nancy Lang files official compliant

Pop singer Nancy Lang has filed a complaint to the prosecutor’s office against her husband Wang Jinjin alleging that he had sexually assaulted, imprisoned and threatened her.

According to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office on Wednesday, Lang filed a complaint against Wang for violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes.

On Oct. 10, Lang told news outlet Edaily that she was breaking up with her husband because she was “continuously assaulted and verbally abused by him.” This was the same day that Wang was hospitalized in the morning after reportedly attempting to commit suicide at home.

Six days later on Oct. 16, Wang released a statement saying that Lang had been avoiding him ever since his friends told the singer false rumors about himself.

Lang further claimed on Oct. 17 during an interview on radio station CBS’ Kim Hyun-jung’s News Show that Wang has been threatening to release sex tapes of her.

After weeks of ongoing conflict with her husband, Lang is finally taking legal action.
