Super Junior to sing on Mexican TV

Korean boy band Super Junior will perform in an awards ceremony run by Mexico’s largest music cable-satellite TV channel Telehit this week.

The 2018 Telehit Awards will take place at 6 p.m. in Mexico City on Wednesday (local time), according to Label SJ, which is a part of SM Entertainment.

Founded in 1993, Telehit is a popular TV channel available all over Latin America and part of the United States.

Previous performers at the annual awards show include the British idol group One Direction, DJ duo The Chainsmokers and DJ Alan Walker. Super Junior is the first Korean group that has been invited to the ceremony.

The band will perform its hit “Sorry, Sorry,” “Mr. Simple” and “One More Time,” in front of an audience of about 70,000 during the ceremony.

The boys will also sing Mexican singer Luis Miguel’s 1987 track “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar” in Spanish.
