J.Fla reaches 10 million subscribers
Korea’s top YouTuber J.Fla, popular for her cover videos of pop songs including Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” has surpassed 10 million subscribers.According to her agency, Feel Music, she is the first independent Korean YouTuber to hit 10 million subscribers.
The singer, who made her debut in 2013 with the EP “Stupid Story,” rose to fame through her covers of popular pop songs on YouTube. J.Fla’s most popular video, her cover of “Shape of You,” has almost 200 million views. Her cover of “Despacito” has 131 million views as of Tuesday.
She claimed her title as the country’s No. 1 YouTuber on March 15, after surpassing guitarist Jung Sung-ha in total subscribers. Jung had held on to the title for over seven years.
