Pledis Entertainment, the agency home of popular artists including Nu’est, Orange Caramel and Seventeen, said Wednesday that it is currently gathering evidence before it takes legal action against those who have been spreading false facts and making slanderous comments about its artists online.
“We are collecting evidence from fans and also gathering evidence ourselves,” the agency said in a statement. “[From now on,] we will take strong legal action against those who spread false rumors online.”
The statement comes only a day after the agency made a warning to those spreading false facts and malicious comments directed against its artists, saying that they will not be settling under any conditions.
It also warned that those attaching links containing slanderous comments may also be subject to punishment.
