‘1 vs. 100’ to air final show Dec. 18

KBS2’s quiz program “1 vs. 100” will end its 11-year run this month.

According to local news outlet News1, the show will air its last episode on Dec. 18. The final show has already been filmed.

The quiz program, which pits one person against 100 others as they answer trivia questions in order to win a grand prize, aired its first episode in May 2007. It is the local version of Netherlands-based media company Endemol’s program that goes by the same name. KBS2 bought the publication rights from the company to air the show.

The end of the program comes along with the termination of its license agreement.

“I was happy to be able to meet many people through the program,” said Cho Chung-hyun, the show’s host. “Thank you to everyone who has sent us so much love. That’s how we were able to come to this point.”
