New iPad Pro on sale today, 1.18 million won for cheapest one

Korean mobile carriers begin sales of the latest iPad Pro tablets today.

The cheapest model costs 1,177,000 won ($1,054), and the most expensive more than double that, though discounts will be offered to customers signing up for phone plans. The all-screen tablet comes in two display sizes: 11-inch and 12.9-inch.

There are four internal storage options, with smallest being 64 gigabytes and the largest being the terabyte option.

The cheapest new iPad Pro is the 11-inch, 64-gigabytes model. The terabyte option in the same screen size takes the price to 2,178,000 won. The larger-screen version costs 1,441,000 won for the cheapest. The priciest terabyte model is 2,442,000 won.

SK Telecom, the country’s largest carrier, said it will offer a discount of 95,000 won on devices if customers subscribe to a 19,800 won per month plan, the cheapest mobile service option for tablets. A more detailed discount schedule will be released today.

Customers can also purchase smart keyboards and Apple Pencil 2 devices designed for the latest tablets. The keyboard starts at 200,200 won.
