A Stradivarius violin made by Italian master craftsman Antonio Stradivari (1644?1737) will be put up for auction for the first time in Korea today. This 1692 violin called “Falmouth” will be put under hammer at the 150th sale of the nation’s biggest auction house Seoul Auction, which starts at 4 p.m. at its headquarters in Pyeongchang-dong, central Seoul.
