Interpol issued a Red Notice for rapper Microdot’s parents on Wednesday, according to local police on Thursday.
The police put in a request to Interpol to publish the highest level of notice against the 25-year-old rapper’s parents on Nov. 22. They are suspected of scamming their friends and family some 20 years ago and fleeing to New Zealand.
According to police, the couple will now face difficulty if they try to leave New Zealand, but they still cannot be forced to come to Korea as they both have New Zealand citizenship.
The couple is said to reside in New Zealand, while the rapper has reportedly sold his house and fled the country without notifying anyone.
