SKT to join forces with FSS to fight voice phishing
SKT will work with the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) to fight voice phishing.The mobile carrier and the FSS signed an MOU on Monday to develop AI technology that can protect users from voice phishing scams.
The technology is expected to be able to determine whether a call is from voice phishers just based on the content and warn users about suspicions in real-time during the call. The FSS will provide the data on voice phishers necessary to develop the technology.
The service is expected to be ready for use by the first half of next year.
