Yi’s house
Chung Jae-suk, chief of the Cultural Heritage Administration stands next to a statue of Yi Sang (1910-37), as the House of Yi Sang located in Tongin-dong in Jongno District, central Seoul, reopened after a six-month renovation on Wednesday. The inside of the humble hanok (traditional Korean house), which was built where famed author Yi had lived for 20 years, has been reconstructed for better access and now displays a bust of Yi.
