Lee Sung-min in Tokyo for musical

Lee Sung-min, a member of boy band Super Junior, is heading to Japan to appear in the musical “30 Something.”

According to his agency Label SJ on Friday, Lee will be playing the lead role of Lee Hyeon-sik, a middle-aged man worn out from his daily routine, who returns to his younger and more vigorous self. He will be performing from Dec. 28 to Jan. 6 at the Akasaka ACT Theater in Tokyo.

Lee has been pursuing a career in theater since 2009, appearing in musicals such as “Akilla” (2009), “Jack the Ripper” (2013) and “Boys Over Flowers” (2017).
