Anthony Lerew to return as Tigers’ Futures League coachFormer Kia Tigers pitcher Anthony Lerew returned to the KBO as a coach for the 2019 season.
Lerew will be the pitching coach for the Tigers’ Futures League team where he will mainly be coaching developing players. Lerew became the Tigers’ first foreign player to return to the club as a coach.
With the addition of Lerew, the Tigers completed their coaching staff for the upcoming season.
Lerew made his KBO debut with the Tigers in 2012 and played for two seasons. Throughout his career in the KBO, he picked up 11 wins, 16 losses and 21 saves with a 3.94 ERA.
