The electronic board at KEB Hana Bank in central Seoul shows the Kospi closing the week 12.29 points, or 0.60 percent, higher than the previous day at 2,075.57, while the won has appreciated against the dollar. The market, which was volatile earlier this year, has recently stabilized as tensions between the United States and China appear to be easing. The Kospi dropped as low as 1,993.70 earlier this year.
