JYP’s new girl group to debut soon

For the first time in four years, JYP Entertainment will be adding a new girl group to its ranks, the company confirmed on Monday.
Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, reported Monday morning that JYP Entertainment, home to successful girl groups Twice, Miss A and Wonder Girls, is planning on launching a new group soon.
According to the agency, the group has already finished shooting the music video for their debut song, and teaser images and videos will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Although the group’s name and members are still under veil, fans predict that Shin Ryu-jin who was featured on JTBC’s audition program “Mixnine,” Shin Ye-ji from the SBS program “The Fan” and Lee Chae-ryung who appeared on Mnet’s “Sixteen” will be in the band’s lineup. No details have been confirmed.
