Lee Deok-hwa heads to YouTube
Actor Lee Deok-hwa has decided to join the lineup of Korean stars heading to YouTube to start their own channel.
According to Lee’s agency DAY Entertainment on Monday, Lee recently opened up his own channel titled “Deokhwa TV.”
The channel features videos of Lee’s daily life and challenges he takes on, such as eating food alone for the first time or playing football.
“For the past 50 years, I’ve appeared in various dramas, films and shows, but I think that becoming a YouTube creator is a new challenge,” he said. “I [decided to start a channel] in order to communicate with the younger generation.”
His new challenge as a creator will also be aired in KBS’s upcoming reality program “Deokhwa TV” next month.
