YG to open up ‘Treasure Box’ again

Just a day after YG Entertainment signaled the launch of their newest boy band Treasure, the agency announced it would launch another boy band made up of trainees from their recently-wrapped audition program “YG Treasure Box.”

On Tuesday morning, YG’s head, Yang Hyun-suk, uploaded a post on his Instagram account stating he will choose six boys from the show who didn’t make it to the final seven and launch another group.

Fans had been asking for a second group and the news comes as a response to their demands.

The agency will unveil a member of the new group every day at 11 a.m., beginning today, and the entire group will be announced on Feb. 4.
