LANY announces a Seoul concert

U.S. rock band LANY is paying another visit to Korea to hold a concert in August.

According to concert promotion agency Live Nation Korea Thursday, the three-member band will perform at Yes24 Live Hall, eastern Seoul, Aug. 8. Tickets will become available Feb. 21 at YES24.

“LANY has visited Korea every year since their first visit [in 2017],” the agency said. “Also, the fact that they announced the concert date on Valentine’s Day means that they are very affectionate toward their Korean fans.”

This will be their fourth time visiting the country, and first since their concert last April.

LANY - an acronym of Los Angeles and New York - is made up of members Paul Jason Klein, Charles Leslie “Les” Priest and Jake Clifford Goss. The group formed in 2014. Their first full album “LANY” (2017) hit No. 4 on Billboard’s Rock Albums chart and No. 5 on the Alternative Albums chart. Last year, they also released their second album “Malibu Nights.”
