Kim Jong-kook announces concerts

Singer Kim Jong-kook will hold a solo concert series for the first time in nine years next month.

His agency JK Entertainment announced Thursday that Kim’s concert series, titled “Looking for Kim Jong-kook,” will be held from March 30 to 31 at Samsung Hall in Ewha Womans University, western Seoul.

“Kim, who has been focused on his career as an entertainer and appearing on many reality programs, is finally returning to his original job,” the agency said. “[At the concerts], he will be showing off his many different sides [as an artist].”

Kim, who debuted in 1995 with the group Turbo, is known for his ballads “One Man” (2004) and “Star, Wind, Sunlight and Love” (2005). He also gained fame as an entertainer through his appearance in SBS’ “Running Man.”
