Blackpink video tops 100 million

The dance practice video for Blackpink’s “Playing with Fire” surpassed 100 million views over the weekend.

The song from the girl group’s second EP “Square Two” has been a huge hit for the group since its release in November 2016. The tropical house track has a lot to offer, from mesmerizing choreography to catchy lyrics, which tells the story of a girl falling quickly in love.

With the “Playing with Fire” dance video reaching the milestone on Saturday, the four-member group now has five dance videos with more than 100 million views. Including their music videos, Blackpink has a total of 12 clips that have over 100 million hits.

The music video for their 2018 hit “Ddu-du Ddu-du” now has more than 690 million views, a record high for any K-pop girl or boy group.

On Sunday, Blackpink took the stage in Taipei, the final stop on the Asian leg of their ongoing world tour, which kicked off in November.

On April 12 and 19, Blackpink is set to perform at Coachella, the largest music festival in the United States, becoming the first K-pop group in history to do so.

Following its Coachella appearance, Blackpink will begin making stops in American cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta as they continue their world tour. The girl group will also perform in six European cities and at two venues in Australia.
