Jason Derulo is coming to Seoul

U.S. pop star Jason Derulo and Jerry Greenberg, the chairman of 7SIX9 Entertainment, will be flying to Seoul and meeting with the local press on March 18.

Having held a press conference on Tuesday to celebrate the success of the first track from the Michael Jackson tribute EP “The Greatest Dancer,” the agency will be inviting Derulo to meet fans in Korea later in the month.

Derulo took part in the song “Let’s Shut Up & Dance,” the first song off the EP, along with K-pop boy band NCT 127 and singer Lay from boy band Exo.

Tuesday’s conference featured hologram images of Derulo and Greenberg talking to each other using KT’s 5G technology, in which the singer and the chairman shared their love and respect for the late pop star.

The music video for “Let’s Shut Up & Dance” has been seen over 12 million times since its release on Feb. 19, and ranking high on music charts worldwide.

Three other songs will be released in the coming months, with the final song to drop on June 25, the anniversary of Jackson’s death.
