FNC Ent. pivots to dramas, films

FNC Entertainment - home to K-pop groups AOA, SF9, N.Flying and CNBlue - announced Tuesday that it would strengthen its production of dramas and films.

The agency recently recruited producer Hong Seong-hwa as the deputy director of the agency’s subsidiary filmmaking company, FNC Story. Hong was previously the director of the drama production team at HB Entertainment, which produced MBC’s “Partners for Justice” and JTBC’s “SKY Castle” last year.

“We plan to further recruit talented [and experienced] directors and scriptwriters [to our agency],” said FNC Story’s director, Yoon Yong. “We will expand our drama and film production business.”

FNC Entertainment is currently home to a number of popular actors, including Lee Dong-gun, Kwak Dong-yeon, Jo Jae-yun and Jung Hae-in.
