Lotte Shopping unveils new emblem for 40th birthday

Lotte Shopping introduced a new emblem to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Monday.

The emblem, which reads 40th anniversary with a ribbon above in dark brown, was created to deliver the image of Lotte’s growing businesses based on changing lifestyles, said Lotte in a statement.

Lotte Shopping was established in November 1979, and currently has five businesses under its arm: Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, Lotte Super, health and beauty chain Lohb and its e-commerce platform, which will be unveiled by 2020 by latest.

“The emblem celebrating the 40th anniversary will be used on both online and offline platforms that reach out to consumers,” said Lee Jeong-hye from Lotte Department Store’s design team. “The [fact that we could reach the 40th anniversary] is like receiving a huge gift from customers.”
