Hanwha shows its movable robots at Coex exhibit

Hanwha has made its collaborative robots movable for factory operations.

Hanwha Precision Machinery is displaying collaborative robots at the Smart Factory Expo held in Coex, southern Seoul, until Friday. A collaborative robot physically interacts with humans in workspaces.

The company’s new robots are mobile and no longer bound to designated locations.

Hanwha said in a statement that it expects the robots to accelerate factory operations by making them more flexible and efficient. They will help manufacturers automate and advance their work systems, the company said.

Hanwha has been collaborating with Yujin Robot since last year. The company released Korea’s first collaborative robot two years ago and has expanded its presence to other parts of the world.
