Culture Ministry to hold concert

A concert celebrating the centennial anniversary of the March 1 Independence Movement and the establishment of the provisional government will be held on April 2 at the History Hall in Seodaemun Prison, western Seoul.

The concert is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to “re-evaluate the 100 years since the establishment and to provide a united platform for the public at Seodaemun Prison Hall, a symbolic place for independence activists.”

The ministry will invite patriots and descendants of independence activists to the concert.

Well-known singers including Baek Z-young, Son Tae-jin, Lee Hyun and Insooni will be performing.

The show will air on April 14 at 5:40 p.m. on KBS.
