Another day, another record for BTS - the K-pop superstars have become the first Korean act to ever have two songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 singles list.
The updated Billboard chart, posted on Tuesday local time, featured two of the septet’s songs, “Boy With Luv” at No. 8 and “Make It Right” at No. 95.
Both songs are from the band’s latest EP “Map of the Soul: Persona,” which was released on April 12. The EP currently sits atop the Billboard 200 albums chart and is the band’s third album to do so.
With “Boy With Luv” at No. 8, the song becomes the highest performing single from a K-pop group. Its song “Fake Love” ranked as high as No. 10 last year.
The success of its latest release also helped boost the performance of its previous EP “Love Yourself: Answer,” which soared up 120 spots up to sit at No. 65 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Meanwhile, the music video for “Boy With Luv” surpassed 200 million views at 1:42 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
This marks BTS’ 12th video to have been seen over 200 million times.
