Seoul to hold dance competition

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will hold a three-day K-pop dance competition for children and teenagers, the city announced on Wednesday.
Seoul will hold “K-Pop Dance Festival” from Friday to Sunday at the Platform Chang Dong 61, a multicultural complex located in northern Seoul.
The event will kick off on Friday afternoon, starting with “Nextar Competition Round 1,” a dance audition program for young talent from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children aged 7 to 18 will participate both as individuals or in groups of up to eight people.
Saturday’s event will include the second round of the dance competition from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., as well as five dance classes held from the morning.
A total of 23 dance performances will be held throughout the day, including the world-famous dance team Just Jerk at 6:30 p.m.
Choreographer Ricka Heo, who has worked with top-class K-pop artists such as BTS, will close off the festival with a presentation on Sunday.
