Taeguk Ladies win last game before World Cup campaign

The Korean women’s football team won their last friendly match 3-0 at home against Nunggok High School’s boy’s football team at the National Football Center on Friday.

Playing three 30-minute sections, Moon Mi-ra led the team by scoring two goals while Park Se-ra scored one.

Following the match, head coach Yoon Duk-yeo announced his 23-woman roster for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Friday. Yoon was missing a lot of players due to injuries ahead of the final roster announcement, but he still managed to add two English Women’s Super League players - Ji So-yun of Chelsea FC Women and Cho So-hyun of West Ham United FC Women.

At the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which runs from June 7 to July 7, Korea is assigned in Group A with host France, Nigeria and Norway.
