Maeil Dairies at 50 promises continued innovationMaeil Dairies celebrated its 50th anniversary on Friday, the company announced Monday.
Maeil - with brands like Sangha Farm, Maeil Milk and Picnic - held an event at Sangha Farmers Village in Gochang County, North Jeolla, on Friday. It was attended by its 200 employees and managers, including Maeil Holdings Chairman and CEO Kim Jung-wan.
“The journey of Maeil Dairies over the past 50 years is one of continuous challenge and creation,” said Kim at the event. “[Maeil Dairies] will continue to [function as the] growth [engine of the group] by standing as the foundation of the group’s endless innovation and by providing healthy and delicious food to consumers while sustaining the business with farmers from Sangha Farmers Village.”
